Description
A mass setting part of a choirbook dedicated to Prince-Elector Maximilian II (Maximilian Emmanuel) of Bavaria (1679 – 1726) composed by Giuseppe Antonio Bernabei (1649 – 1732). Coming from a family of musicians, Bernabei first worked as organist at S. Luigi dei Francesi in Rome before commencing his career in Münich. He was also a composer of operas, but scope of his output was rather small for he was a member of clergy.
