Signum Fidei

Educated by the De La Salle Brothers (those who inherited the mission to “touch hearts and minds” of the Patron Saint of Teachers, St. Jean Baptiste de La Salle) growing up in Hong Kong, Bryan is particularly interested in their forgotten legacy in sacred music. With his Project Blog Signum Fidei, Bryan shares the history of the Lasallian music tradition and provides sheet music of sacred music composed by Lasallian Brothers and their affiliates.

Signum Congruentiae

Bryan firmly believes sacred music from the Renaissance Era forms the core music identity of the Roman Catholic faith, and that it can be (and should be) applied into modern liturgical contexts in the Church. With his publishing handle Signum Congruentiae, he offers sheet music of sacred choral music by lesser-known composers at accessible prices. Stay tuned as Bryan prepares his shop interface!

Oxonian Hongkonger Bryan Au Yeung is a baritone studying at the Royal Northern College of Music under the guidance of Andrew Heggie. Experienced and versatile, Bryan is active in both operatic and choral (singing and conducting) engagements.

Bryan has an extensive profile in opera, his role credits include:

Bryan is also a freelance church musician with immense experience for both Roman Catholic and Anglican liturgies singing with various groups at St. Walburge’s ICKSP (Preston), Hidden Gem RC (Manchester Albert Square), St Joseph’s Eucharistic Shrine (Stockport), Liverpool Anglican Cathedral, Chichester Cathedral, St Paul’s Cathedral (London) and many other churches and cathedrals.

He has sung in various Cambridge collegiate chapels during his choral scholarship at the Cambridge Choral Academy, under the direction of Dr Edward Wickham.

Specialising in Renaissance sacred music, Bryan currently serves as Assistant Director of Music for Ignatius Singers at the Catholic Chaplaincy of the Holy Name of Jesus, Manchester Oxford Road.
